For the love of the game. Whether you’re a professional athlete playing in a stadium filled with thousands of fans, or you’re part of a Monday night pick-up league playing in front of your buddies; we play because we love it.
We love the feeling when the whistle blows. We love the feeling of competition and challenging ourselves. We love the feeling of being part of a team.
No matter what age or what level you’re at, we can all find comfort in being part of something bigger than ourselves. And what better day to celebrate this constant in our life than good ol’ Valentine’s Day!
Today, let’s celebrate our first love.
The thing that has been there since we could walk. The thing we can thank for introducing us to some of our lifelong friends. The thing that gets us excited every Sunday while we cheer watching the TV. The one thing we can always count on.
