Back in the 90s, I learned about a simple team-building exercise that seems appropriate at this time of the year. Teams that play fall seasons, are entering their playoffs or major tournaments, conference championships, NCAA tournaments. It’s that time of the year, when players are excited, have high expectations and lofty dreams.

Increasing The Compete Level” On Your Team”

My team of 13-year-old girls recently had a Christmas Party. First, let me tell you that I am very lucky. My team of middle-schoolers get along very well. They laugh a lot and really enjoy being around each other. And at least for a few hours at a time, they dispel the old saying, “There’s nothing meaner than a middle school girl.”
