How To Escape The YouTube Loop

Yesterday, I went to YouTube to get some ideas for my week of soccer practices. Of course, I quickly found a nice collection to check out. But here’s what happened.

I started with a video about teaching possession. Then I watched one about possession with a diamond midfield. Then I saw one with one of the best players of all time, Johan Cruyff, explaining the how he played in the diamond. I had to watch that one.

Are You Edu-taining Your Team?

Students entering college this year have always had access to technology that makes their lives more efficient. They have never had to use a phone book, never had to stop to ask for directions. They have always been able to settle a debate by asking Google, and all of their music has always fit in their pocket. Virtually everything they need is literally at their fingertips.
